Count Your Blessings!

This project is an adorable way to feature how special your family is to you.

Crafted by Joy.

Supplies

  • Blocks
  • Vinyl Words
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Mod Podge
  • Photos
  • Scissors
  • Paintbrush

All supplies used for this project can be found at our Bonney Lake store.

Let's start with the photo blocks.

1.  Using the paintbrush, apply acrylic paint in the color(s) of your choice to all sides of the blocks. The number of blocks could depend on the number of children or family members.
2.  Set aside to let dry.
3. Trim photos to fit the size of the blocks.
4.  Glue photos onto the blocks using Mod Podge.

Now, we'll create the "Blessings" blocks.

5.  Using the paintbrush, apply acrylic paint in the color(s) of your choice to all sides of the blocks.
6.  Set aside to let dry.
7.  Once dry, adhere each letter to each block to spell out the word "Blessings."

How to Apply Vinyl
  1. Prepare the surface of the blocks by removing any dust or residue from the area the vinyl letter is to be applied.
  2. Once you have determined where you would like to place the vinyl letter, remove the backing, which will expose the sticky side, and position it onto the surface by pressing lightly.
  3. Using your finger or an applicator stick, work out any air bubbles by smoothing out the vinyl.
  4. Remove the face paper tape from the vinyl.
